-
Discussion of Consent
-
There will be an age appropriate discussion of consent. This ensures that the Piercee understands that they are welcome and able to remove consent at any point during the piercing process.
-
We will not force anyone to do anything they do not want to do, we can always reschedule to another day.ā
-
-
Aftercare Discussion
-
We will give a brief overview of how to appropriately care for the piercing. We need to ensure that aftercare will be followed properly.
-
Failure to follow aftercare instructions appropriately can result in scarring, infection, abscesses, and permanent undesired change.ā
-
-
Assessing the Piercee's Ability to Sit For & Understand the Processā
-
We need to ensure that whomever is getting pierced has a general understanding that they need to sit still during the piercing and that it will hurt a little bit.
-
Our Piercer makes the piercing go as quick as humanly possible so being able to emotionally regulate & relax as best as possible is very important. ā

Check Up & Downsizing Discussion
-
We do suggest coming in for a check up and possible downsize around the 6 - 8 week mark.
-
This way, we can take a peek at the piercing to ensure healing & aftercare is going well. If a downsize on the length of the post is suggested, there will be an additional cost for each post; no service fee when jewelry is purchased in studio. (Posts are $20 each)
-
Please don't forget to bring in your aftercare brochure for 25% off your first downsize! - Coupon on the backā
-
If the piercing does not require a downsize, we will mention that & any follow up instructions.
-
Check ups are always free.
-
-
Discussion of Consent
-
Consent means permission - You give the Piercer permission to pierce your ears.ā
-
We ask for "Enthusiastic Consent" meaning that you are pretty excited to get your ears pierced!
-
If you are too nervous or don't want to do the other side, you are able to tell us at any point and we can reschedule to another day.
-
Consent keeps everyone safe & having a good time!

We Will Talk About Taking Care of Your Piercing
-
Believe it or not, getting the piercing is the easy part - But taking good care of the piercing is JUST as important!
-
We need to make sure you will be able to take good care of your piercing while you are healing, otherwise things like infection or scars could happen.
-
-
We Will Make Sure You Can Sit Still & Understand How Things Work During the Piercingā
-
Your Piercer will give you a chance to ask any questions during your appointment - Questions are great! They help us know that you understand what's going on. We always welcome questions.ā
-
It is important to follow instructions during the piercing process, so please make sure to listen!
-
-
We Will Talk About Check Ups & Downsizing
-
We like to check in on how your ears are healing around the 6 - 8 week mark. This is so we can make sure your piercings are healing well and see if you need any extra tips or tricks
-
Something called "downsizing" can also happen at this point. What this means is we will insert slightly shorter posts into your earlobes if you notice the ones you were pierced with are too long (if they're getting caught or stuck on stuff, it would be a good idea to shorten them)
-
Downsizing doesn't feel like getting them pierced again, it might just feel a little odd.

About Our Jewelry
Our jewelry is made of implant grade material. This means that it meets the same specifications required for medical implants like braces or hip replacements. We use only implant grade titanium, niobium, and solid 14k rose, yellow, and nickel-free white gold.
Our jewelry will not tarnish, or cause allergic reaction, it is meant to last a lifetime of wear.
ā
There are so many choices available to the kiddos we pierce!
Most kids choose from our titanium line, as they tend to be the most 'wallet friendly'.
As well, another nice thing with our jewelry is that the ends of our studs are interchangeable.
After you downsize the length of your post so it sits comfortably in the ear without extra movement, we can change out the end to something different. Once fully healed, we are happy to teach you how to change the ends of your jewelry.
