Tragus piercings are located on the triangular 'nubby' bit attached to your head, and may be performed as a single (1), or a pair (2). Placement and number of piercings per tragus varies depending on anatomy. These piercings are typically performed with studs with extra room for swelling, initially, for healing purposes. Unless you are a dedicated back sleeper, we suggest on only getting cartilage piercings on one ear at a time. *These are not great piercings for those who have to wear in ear headphones or stethoscopes, as you will have to keep anything that puts pressure on the piercing out of your ear canal until fully healed. Healing typically takes between 6-12+ months, and can vary from person to person. ❤ No submerging the piercings in bodies of water for at least 3 months after the piercing. ❤ Please do not sleep on your piercing for at least half the healing time to lessen the risk of migration & irritation (using a travel pillow while sleeping can help lessen this risk!) ❤ You will not be able to wear in-ear headphones or stethoscopes until downsized. (2-3 months) ❤ We suggest waiting until fully healed (6+ months) before changing the jewelry style to a decorative ring and (10-12 months) for a seam ring - Book an appointment for a jewelry change to see if you are ready! ❤ Checkup and/or downsizing extra length of the initial jewelry is highly recommended around 6-8 weeks to lessen the likelihood of migration, and irritation bumps. ❤ Checkups on piercings performed by our studio are always free! ❤ The cost of downsizing is free, with the purchase of jewelry ($20 per post) - see your aftercare brochure for a discount on your first downsize! We use only APP Verified implant grade titanium, niobium, and/or solid 14k gold jewelry that comes with a lifetime warranty on manufacturing. (Loss is not covered) PLEASE NOTE: The listed service price does NOT include jewelry. Basic titanium jewelry for this piercing starts at $50 per piece & goes up from there.
