Septum piercings are placed in a very thin membrane located towards the tip of the nose, referred to as 'the sweet spot'. Placement and size of initial jewelry varies depending on anatomy. These piercings are typically performed with slightly larger rings initially with extra room for swelling and should be fully healed (4-6 months) before swapping to seam rings or rings without a bead or decoration on them. Septums are one of the few piercings you can hide and they tend to be one of the easiest piercings to heal. Healing typically takes between 4-6+ months, and can vary from person to person. ❤ No submerging the piercings in bodies of water for at least 2 months after the piercing. ❤ Please do not sleep on your piercing for at least half the healing time to lessen the risk of irritation (using a travel pillow while sleeping can help lessen this risk!) ❤ Please wait until fully healed (4-6+ months) before switching to a hoop without decoration ❤ Checkup is suggested around 4-6 weeks to ensure the healing process is going well. ❤ Checkups on piercings performed by our studio are always free We use only APP Verified implant grade titanium, niobium, and/or solid 14k gold jewelry that comes with a lifetime warranty on manufacturing.
